Poor Rich

Rich had a rough day yesterday. We started off the day with his parents leaving for California. He was bummed to see them leave. Then good news came, things were back on track with the house. So he spent a good part of the day working on packing the little things he could. But we are at a part where there really isn't much to pack because we are still using it. Then evening hit, we got a call from the realtor and it was good and possibly bad news. Good news, the interest rate dropped on our loan, the potential bad is a new law requires us to wait 4 days to "Review" the changes before we can close. So, a little frustrated, he decided to go on a motorcycle ride. Well, on his way home, he ran out of gas, that is when he realized that he forgot his cell phone at home. Luckily, someone stopped and let him use their cell phone and called me. I had the neighbor girl hang out while Abra was asleep and I went to the gas station to get gas. Rich was able to push his bike a few miles and up the exit ramp when I met him. We got the gas in the motorcycle, but the flashers had drained the battery, so that meant pushing it 2 more miles to Genentech parking lot until today.

The funny thing in all of this: Rich had asked God for a stress relief and something to keep him busy this week(because he is on vacation) Well, last night, he was much too tired to worry about the bank, and he had a project for today at least, getting the motorcycle home and fixing it:)

Abra's 4!

My baby is no longer a baby anymore:( I will put up the few pictures I have up when I find my camera. Our day started with pancakes and presents from Mom and Dad. She got her pretty "birthday" dress and a toy for her dollhouse.
Then Mom went and got her flowers and her birthday cake! We hung around the house with Grandma and Grandpa, Daddy and Shia until 2:30 when we got to go to the park for the friends party.
It was a HUGE success and tons of fun!! There was running, basketball, soccer, bubbles, chalk, cake and ice cream!! Then we came home and talked with Grandma Renee and Grandpa Ed, Auntie Rachel and baby Hayden. To round up the fun, we had pizza for dinner, a shower and BED!!! Thank you to everyone who participated; Abra had a GREAT DAY!!!

First day of Preschool

So, the Abra had her first day of preschool. When I was in school, we ALWAYS stood on the front steps and pose for mom, so I decided to follow in the tradition. There are only 3 little ones in her class, but she had a GREAT time!!

NOTICE: I was a good Mom and

made her wear shorts under her dress:)

Abra's new earrings

I told everyone that Abra can get her ears pierced when she asks by herself with no imput from others. Well, Abra was eating her 2nd breakfast with Daddy and she announced she wanted to get her ears pierced today so Daddy said okay. I caved in and agreed after a very over-dramatized explination was given to her (to try and scare her) Well, it didn't work and now she has pretty flower earrings to show for it!

House color

So, I THINK I have decided on a color scheme for the interior of the house. I will probably change my mind, but luckily I have Jenna to bring me back to reality:) It is also hard to decide until we actually get inside and compare against the wood floors. That is my only concern! But I guess we could always add a new project to our list :restain the floors:)

Poor Tina

So, poor Tina had a GREAT day!! Our old neighbor Jenna stopped by to pick up her son Bayley and while we were all out front Ava was sleeping in her crib. Well, the front door accidentally got shut (it is an auto-lock) and her husband was in Floridia on a business trip, so we had a visit from the fire department to break-in to her house!! The kids thought it was the best thing ever to have the firemen come to them and give them stickers and tatoos!!!
